What Is Your Goal To Achieve In 2010?
Begin by setting goals on a regularly to decide what you want to achieve for your goals. Then, progress into a step-by-step process to achieve these goals because goal setting is actually a type of formal process for your personal life’s planning.
Well, the problem starts in the most basic part of the entire process… which is to set the goal itself!
Let’s zoom it closer to setting goals - not many people are very good at doing that because we’re not ‘train’ to do so. There are plenty of rooms for mistakes when doing this, but the real challenge seems to be what we do once we set them in motion.
For starters, it is essential to know what your goals are. Take a few minutes right now to figure this out. Simply take out a blank sheet of paper (yes, you can use your computer too :-)) and avoid all of the distractions for just 10 minutes. What you do is write down anything and everything that comes into your mind regarding your goals.
The process of setting goals and targets allows you to choose where you want to go in life. By knowing exactly what you want to achieve, you know what you have to concentrate on to do it.
The only variable here are the methods that you use to go about it. When it is career, work to get noticed; for relationships, work on maintaining your intimacy or getting it back; in financial matters, work to save and invest money etc. It really is that easy.
By setting sharp and clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals. You can see forward progress in what might previously have seemed a long pointless effort.
How do you set your goals? It starts with your lifetime goals, and then works through a series of lower level plans culminating in a daily to-do list. By setting up this structure of plans you can break even the biggest life goal down into a number of small tasks that you need to do each day to reach the lifetime goals. The first step in setting goals is to consider what you want to achieve in your lifetime, as setting lifetime goals that gives you the overall perspective that shapes all other aspects of your decision making process.
For example, perhaps you want to set a goal for your own self improvement. Does your own mindset hold you back from making progress? Is there any part of the way that you behave that upsets you, for example, do you talk too much? If so, set a goal to improve your behavior or find a solution to the problem.
Or maybe it’s your career. What level do you want to reach in your career? Is it your goal to be the boss or own your own company someday, or do you want to be the president of someone else’s company?
Then there’s everybody’s favorite topic – finance. How much do you want to earn by what age in your life? What can you do to make that come about?
Once you have set your lifetime goals, the best thing that you can do is set a 25 year plan of smaller goals that you should complete if you are to reach your lifetime plan. From there, you can just need to shorten your overall goal spans. For example, you set a 5 years plan, 1 year plan, 3 months plan, and one month plan of smaller goals which you should reach to achieve to your ultimate lifetime goals. Each of these should be based on the previous plan.
Then review the goals and re-prioritize until you are satisfied that they reflect the shape of the life that you want to lead.
By setting goals, you will also raise your self confidence, as you recognize your ability to meet the goals that you have set. The process of achieving goals and seeing this achievement gives you confidence that you will be able to achieve higher and more difficult goals later on.
Also, you should ensure that the goals that you have set are the goals that you want to achieve, and not what your parents, spouse, family, or employers want them to be.
Success only happens when you are working for your own well being because doing it for others will ensure that you sabotage your own success. The program that we recommend to learn about success is the Maverick Coaching Success Principle and for financial wealth, go for Cash In A Flash Secret.

How To Attain Your Goals
A few years ago I realised the importance of setting goals and targets. I thought about what I wanted to be and which course I wanted my life to take. I wrote out three different lists of my aims for the future.
The first list included what I wanted to achieve within the next twelve months. The second list contained what I wanted to achieve within five years and the third list was my lifetime goals.
One of my goals was to do with my composite front doors business. I wanted to ensure that the world would get to know about the fact that I offer affordable composite doors.
I had read that it of benefit to write any goals or targets down to ensure that one can keep focused.
Invest time and money to reach your goals
I now had a determination to succeed and was willing to work hard to achieve my goals. I was very much aware that I would have to work very hard to achieve anything in life. One of my aims was to overcome stuttering. To do this I had to learn the art of relaxation, I have always been very hard on myself and had spent most of my life worrying about things that may happen in the future. I began to become more care-free and even started to treat myself every so often. I went to see a refloxologist and a few weeks later I went to see an aromatherapist. After working extremely hard with copious amounts of dedication I did manage to achieve fluency - I was very proud of my efforts as you can no doubt imagine.
Avoid negative people
There are people out there who try to bring me down. They attempt to do this by off the cuff comments they make or just by the way they seem to look down on me. They look at me as If I am worthless and some kind of loser. These type of people have caused me many sleepless nights and have had a negative affect on my self-confidence.
Life is now good and my business career has now taken off and I am now working with a company who offer a cost reduction strategy which I have to say is very enjoyable.
I hope that you have found this article interesting and of benefit.

How to Make Your Life Dreams into Reachable Goals
There is an amazing ancient Chinese saying that says that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. In order to be able to turn your dreams into reality you must first turn them from dreams into attainable goals…
Starting the dream list:
Let’s start your personal goal-setting process now by listing a broad range of things you’d like to accomplish, experience, or own. Set no limits on their price or what you presently think your chances of ever achieving them are. This is a process I have used to accomplish writing my own internet marketing book and starting my own golf course management company so be sure to be one hundred percent honest with yourself.
On a sheet of paper right now, begin to write until you have 100 things written down in front of you. Call it a Wish list, a Dream list, a Wants list. It doesn’t matter what you call it. Just pick up a pen and start to write.
(Or you can copy and paste this article into your text editor like notepad and then fill in your answers.)

And how much money will you need to live on?
To be safe, do not forget to add at least 4% inflation per year! (Of course, I don’t think any of that retirement money ever goes to clothing.)

Maybe you want to take your family to Disney World in Florida. (Just be careful not to go on It’s A Small World, you won’t be able to get that song out of your head for days!)

Turning dreams into goals.
Start your goal setting process by creating a list of dreams. Force yourself to write down one hundred things before you go back and polish your list.
List all of the places you want to visit, life experiences you would like to have and toys you would like to own like a new Mercedes Benz. List things you’d like to accomplish, skills you’d like to acquire and the amount of money you’d like to make.
Write down the details of the type of house you would like to own, the business or career you would like to create and the lifestyle you’d like your family to enjoy.
From this wonderful list pick the ten most exciting things and add deadlines. Next, go back and set midway or halfway goals for each. Finally, list short-term goals that will contribute to the accomplishment of the intermediate goals and ultimately the long-term goals.
There is no limit to the number of goals that you set, just make sure you list only those that you are truly committed to attaining.
