Camping Resorts: Perfect For Anyone Who Enjoys Nature

Some of the world’s best camping resorts have been developed in Europe and America over the last few years. Modern life has become extremely stressful. Fitness experts and New Age philosophers both suggest a ‘back-to-Nature’ solution for maintaining health and staying happy. The number of holiday-makers preferring resorts has doubled over the last two years in America. resorts offer different kinds of amenities and options to suit all needs. Whether it’s a group of families traveling together or a loner writer looking to spend time with himself, there’s a resort for everyone.

Pure adventure - You can take a safari in the jungles or get up close with wildlife in nature parks. However, these kind of resorts are for the hardy explorer who won’t mind if he has to cook on the fire, carry his own backpack, have no access to phones or emails at the camp site, and be ready to take on Nature’s challenges. You will have to be extremely resourceful and rugged to handle this kind of a holiday.

There are the spa-cum-health resorts that also function as resorts. At these places, you’re not completely cut off from the rest of the world and can still choose to sleep in an air-conditioned room. You can decide when to sleep in a tent or go hiking and for long walks.

Several resorts have also developed as stopovers for travelers on a cycling or hiking trail. These resorts have been basically built to cash in on the tourism potential of a region. People can simply pick up tents and other accessories and spend nights outdoors while returning the stuff the next morning and moving on with their trail. Sometimes, people stay on for a couple of days.

Family resorts are ideal for teaching children about Nature and bonding between adult family members. These resorts offer special hobby classes, treasure hunts and plenty of other outdoor group activities. These have become hot spots of families receiving corporate gift coupons for time off from work.

Several family resorts offer club membership plans giving you discounts and other benefits for staying at one of their properties once every year.

Pick An Environmentally-friendly Camping Toilet Unit: Do Your Part

When going for an outdoor holiday, do take a camping toilet along. It may not give you the comfort of your daily washroom but can still make your holiday hassle-free.Here are some tips you must consider before buying a toilet.

Always go for a unit that can be easily folded up and carried separately in a backpack with your other gear. It should be compact enough to not be a burden, not require use of water which is not freely available at campsites and of course be odor free.

Pick portable toilets that come with bags specially made for disposing human waste. Also, it’s much more convenient to have a toilet with its own privacy tent so that you can set it up behind your main tent. Do not buy waste bags or a toilet from a manufacturer without repute just because he is giving special discounts. Look at the overall quality of the unit before purchasing one.

Usually waste disposable bags are patented. Always buy bags that are environment-friendly and biodegradable. A special powder is used with the bags to check the odor. Some bags are big enough to be used at least three times but they are cheap enough to be disposed off after one use only. The toilet paper can also be disposed off inside the bag too.

When purchasing toilet units on the Internet ensure the usual security features of privacy. Look for guarantee offers and return policy features too. In fact, before you purchase a toilet unit, you can find out if your tent will be placed near the campground toilet or not. Trudging alone to a toilet in the middle of the night may not be a good idea.

If you don’t buy a full toilet unit, you can easy assemble one at home with a chair or just decide to use the human disposable bags. For these, to check the odor, you will need to use sawdust and cat litter.
