Best Way To Lose Body Fat. Period

To lose that excess 40lbs of fat was a life changer for me - I had renewed energy, drive and self-belief.

Now what I am going to share with you is no guarantee. I simply don’t know if you are going to take action and follow through to completion. That is up to you, not me.

So here are 5 simple steps that could help you if you are over-fat, frustrated with your previous fat loss attempts and are struggling to gain momentum in the daily struggle to burn fat fast:

1. You must have absolute certainty that you need to change. If you don’t have absolute certainty, you won’t follow through. It can’t be a half-baked idea, “oh, it’s about time I lost some weight”. That’s not enough. It needs to be more committed and explicit than that. You need 100% certainty.

2. You need goals and a plan to achieve them - failing to plan is planning to fail. You need to define what the end game is and how you are going to get there. You need to find out the the . How much weight do you want to lose? By when do you want to lose it? Your goals need to be realistic but also have stretch applied to them. If you need to eliminate a huge amount of fat then you will need to break your long term goal into smaller goals. These goals will be more achievable and demonstrate that you are making progress.

3. “Success is a few simple disciplines practised every day”. This is a great quote from the late and great Jim Rohn. To eat healthily and to eat excercise regularly you need to develop great habits and apply daily consistency. Without the consistency – which is achieved through having absolute certainty that you will achieve your goals – you will quickly revert back to your bad habits. This is not the best to way to lose body fat. To create a great habit takes some time and effort. Don’t expect overnight success. You may fall ‘off the wagon’ once or twice. The key is not to despair. Understand what you are trying to achieve and why – regroup, refocus and get back to applying consistency to your daily routine.

4. Eating healthy foods is the best way to burn fat fast. Eating healthily should mean eating balanced meals with complex carbohydrates, lean protein and healthy fats. Don’t forget the vegetables and fruit too. Portion sizes should be kept to small sizes and eat 5-6 meals per day. Restricting calorie intake is counter-productive. Restrictive diets slow down your body’s metabolism causing you to store fat rather than burn it! Eating small portions often will help keep your metabolism elevated – ideal for fat burning.

5. You need to get active 3-4 times a week. Now this doesn’t mean gonig through the motions on a treadmill for 30 minutes or more. That’s not the . I am strong advocate of high intensity training whether it is resistance training or interval training. Allow me to explain what I mean. High intensity workouts allow you to train for much shorter periods (less than 30 minutes), but also keep your metaolism raised for up to 48 hours after completing the session. In addition, resistance training creates muscle. This not only makes you look great, but also raises your metabolism at rest. The bottom line is that more muscle means more calories burned whilst resting. It’s the .
