Best Way To Lose Body Fat

To lose that excess 40lbs of fat was a life changer for me - I had renewed energy, drive and self-belief.

Now what I am going to share with you is no guarantee. I just don’t know if you are going to take massive action and follow through with consistency. That is in your hands, not mine.

My role is to provide you with the support and the strategies that I followed to create my lean body - possibly it’s the .

Here are 5 key steps that you should follow if you are confused about fat loss, despondent about the way you look and struggling for consistency in your daily battle to burn fat fast:

1. Have absolute certainty that you need to change. Without that cast iron certainty, there is just no way that you will follow through. It can’t be a half-baked idea, “oh, it’s about time I lost some weight”. It will just not be sufficent. It needs to be more committed and explicit than that. You need to be 110% sure – and nothing less.

2. Without goals and a plan to achieve them is a recipe for failure. You need to understand where you are going. You need to know the for you. How much fat do you want to get rid of? Do you have a deadline by when you want to lose it? Your goals need to be stretchy but they also need to be realistic. If you need to eliminate a huge amount of fat then you will need to break your long term goal into smaller goals. These goals will be more achievable and demonstrate that you are making progress.

3. Here’s a great quote - “Success is a few simple disciplines practised every day”. It’s by the late Jim Rohn. You need to create good habits (eating right and exercising regularly) and this requires consistency applied every day. Without the consistency – which is achieved through having absolute certainty that you will achieve your goals – you will quickly revert back to your bad habits. This is not the best to way to lose body fat. Creating good habits takes time. It won’t happen over night. There may be times where you fall off the wagon. The point here is not to get despondent. Understand what you are trying to achieve and why – regroup, refocus and get back to applying consistency to your daily routine.

4. The best way to burn fat fast is to eat healthy foods. You should be targeting balanced meals of lean protein, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats. Also, eat plenty of vegetables and fruit. You should be eating 5-6 small portioned meals every day. Don’t even consider restricting your calories - this is counter-productive. Starvation or restrictive diets pull your metabolism down to standstill causing your body to store fat. To keep your metabolism elevated at all times you should eat regular small meals - it’s great for burning fat.

5. You need to get active 3-4 times a week. Now this doesn’t mean gonig through the motions on a treadmill for 30 minutes or more. That’s not the . What I am talking about here is high intensity resistance training and high intensity interval training. Allow me to explain what I mean. High intensity exercise keeps your workouts to less than 30 minutes, but more importantly keeps your metabolism elevated for up to 48 hours. In addition, resistance training creates muscle. This not only makes you look great, but also raises your metabolism at rest. Basically more muscle means more calories burned at rest. Quite simply it’s the .
