You’re Going To Have A Baby: Now What?
You may have been anxiously waiting for the day when you’re doctor will tell you that you are expecting a baby. If this will be your first one, you’re probably a little nervous and concerned about what the next nine months will hold for you. Follow this early pregnancy guide to have a successful pregnancy.
Begin to exercise regularly. Exercise has several functions in pregnancy. It will help you strengthen your body muscles so they will be able to support the weight of the baby. It will help you to maintain a normal weight gain and not gain extra weight during your pregnancy. Exercise will, also, help you keep a happy, positive outlook on life and keep you from getting depressed.
The best type of exercise when you are pregnant is walking. Walk briskly and attempt to walk at least a mile each day. Swimming, aqua-aerobics and yoga are beneficial during pregnancy, too.
Make it a habit to only eat healthy foods. Make sure you have carrots, apples, kiwis, oranges and different berries on hand to snack on during the day when you have a desire to eat. If you eat this type of food for snacks, you won’t put on a lot of extra weight. This will result in your baby receiving the nutrition it needs.
Have you heard about the new acai berry juice? It’s one of the new super foods that is full of vitamins and minerals. Now that you are pregnant, it would be a good idea to buy acai berry juice and drink it throughout the day. It has a chocolate, berry flavor that is different from other juices, but it is delicious. You can use it in deserts or to make smoothies, in order to have something a little bit different.
Your health is always important, but now that you are expecting a baby, it’s even more important. Stop using cigarettes, drugs and alcohol. You already know that you are ruining your personal health, but now that you are expecting, you are hurting the baby’s health, as well.
Do you drink a lot of coffee, soda pop and tea? Are you a big chocolate fan? These things all act as a mild stimulant in your body, and they can have an effect on your baby, too. There is a higher risk of miscarriage and of having a small, underweight baby in women who consume high quantities of caffeine.
Now that you are sure you are expecting a baby, spend time preparing yourself for its birth. Eat healthy food, exercise every day and drink lots of juice from the acai berry.
