The Acai Berry is the Best Antioxidant Dietery Supplement on the Market

Antioxidants are becoming the most talked about and fitness trend in years. While we have always known that fruits, vegetables, and vitamins were very healthy, we are just starting to realize how helpful antioxidants are to our bodies. Let’s discuss what an antioxidant is and then how you can most effectively get more in your .

Free radicals float around your body and cause damage to your cells. I won’t get into more details, but if you want to know more, go to Wikipedia and you can get more information. Ok, so we have established that there are things called free radicals in your body and they are not good for you. Now, let’s see what we can do to fix that.

Antioxidants are the key to neutralizing these free radicals. It isn’t this simple, but for our purposes, let’s say that one antioxidant kills one free radical. We are going to have some amount of free radicals in our body so we have to keep putting more antioxidants into our body so we can keep getting rid of the free radicals and stop the damage they cause to our cells.

The important thing to discuss is what you can expect as far as results if you start taking antioxidant supplements. Well, it is not the same for every person, but many people have more energy and lose some body fat. In theory, when the free radicals stop destroying cells, your body stays healthier and won’t age as fast. Yep, many people say that antioxidants can actually slow the aging process. Sounds pretty good to me.

The last thing to discuss is where to get these extra antioxidants. You get antioxidants when you eat some foods like blueberries, pomegranates, and the ever popular acia berry. You can also get antioxidants from vegetables like broccoli. What you need to be concerned with is what the antioxidant content is in the various fruits and vegetables and what the best way to supplement your is. There are 2 options here, you can either eat the vegetables and fruits or you can get a dietary supplement to get them. A lot of people opt for the supplement because it is easier and frequently cheaper than buying a bunch of extra fresh fruits which can spoil in a matter of days.

I don’t have a complete listing of antioxidant values for you, but I do have some of the best and most popular. I’m not even going to try to explain what the number mean (it is a pretty complex and scientific), but it is pretty easy to see that 200 antioxidants is more than 100 and with antioxidants more is better so I would say that acai berry drink is best.

Admittedly, I have not seen the actual scientific studies that produced these results, I have seen them in many different places so I think it is highly likely they are accurate.

There really isn’t much more to talk about. The choice is up to you, but if I was making the decision, I would pick the food with the highest value. I would also get it in a supplement instead of eating it whole because it is way more efficient and cheaper. In addition to that, I don’t really like vegetables and fruits that much and swallowing a capsule is easier than eating a lot of vegetables and fruits. To me, it appears obvious which is the highest rated, but you have to choose for yourself if you are going to take best antioxidant supplement.
